Division manufactures a range of lasers, systems and accessories
for high precision micro-machining, in the following key areas
micro-drilling, micro-cutting, micro-milling, etching and marking.
Advanced high power, short pulse, high pulse repetition frequency
lasers, backed by years of applied knowledge, enables the production
of features down to 1 micron with exacting tolerances and high
process speeds.
The Imaging
Division applies lasers to high speed imaging - at up to 100
000 frames per second. Image analysis allows size and velocity
(PIV including 3D) to be measured, and we have a unqiue technique
for looking through explosions. We also offer a unique diode-laser
for fluid visualisation whic h offers 20 times the power of
an argon-ion laser, at a much lower cost.
Oxford
lasers also manufactures performance enhancing accessories for
Excimer Lasers. These industrial and scientific gas purifiers,
when used, will extend gas lifetime, increase reliability and
improve beam quality. This results in a more cost effective
and consistent end process. The range of models available are
applicable to any excimer laser in any environment.
