Aluminium
alloys are used extensively in the aerospace, and automobile
industries. They are resistant to wear, erosion and corrosion.
The purpose of this investigation was to see if an Al-Sn
alloy (Al-Sn10-Si4-Cu1) could be laser clad successfully
onto mild steel by the blown powder cladding method.
