Marie
Curie Actions The EU Marie Curie Actions programme which promotes
the mobility of researchers in Europe has awarded the Laser Group
a number of visiting research fellowships in order to introduce expertise
in laser based processes at the micro and nano level to the Group.
VELI
Virtual European Laser Institute connects 15 of the leading laser
institutes from Finland to Portugal to a unique European network,
bringing together the competence and knowledge on laser technology
across Europe
VIRTUELA
The Virtual Euro Laser Laboratory project, part of the Leonardo
da Vinci programmme, replaces traditional laboratory experiments
with virtual interactive computer simulations. This enables distance
laboratory training without access to expensive laser laboratory
equipment and enters new pedagogical methods of multimedia-based
interactive teaching.
