Masters MSc (Eng) Programme 2008-2009

• One year full-time course starting at the beginning of the academic year (late September 2008)
• Learn how lasers are transforming the modern world
• Study in a top rated (RAE 5*A) research environment
• Applications are invited from candidates with (or expecting to gain) a first degree at 2.2(Hons) or better in any engineering or science discipline
• EPSRC Studentships to cover fees and maintenance are available to UK based applicants. Fees only support available to EU based applicants
• International Scholarships are available to overseas students
• 5 month research project
• Part-time Industry - based projects available
• Modules include: Laser Materials Processing, Optics in Laser Engineering, Economics of Laser Applications, Laser Cutting and Marking, Laser Welding and Drilling, Laser Surface Treatments, Laser Microprocessing, Personal Development modules
